The Price Index of Construction Materials for January 2026 reached 118.89 units (base year 2021=100), recording an increase of 1.09%, compared to the same month of the previous year, according to CySTAT.
By main commodity category, CySTAT said, increases were observed in minerals (2.91%), electromechanical products (2.55%), products of wood, insulation materials, chemicals and plastics (1.19%) and mineral products (0.97%), whereas a decrease was recorded in metallic products (-0.49%).
In January, the price index of construction materials recorded an increase of 0.12% compared to the previous month.
