President Nikos Christodoulides will attend an event to be held in Athens today, Tuesday, 17 February for the establishment and operation of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens – Cyprus Branch.
According to a press release by the Cyprus Presidency, the President of the Republic, who will be one of the main speakers, will be welcomed at the event venue by the President of the Hellenic Republic, Constantinos Tasoulas, and the Rectorate.
President Christodoulides, who is accompanied by the Deputy Government Spokesperson, Yiannis Antoniou, and officials, will return home in the afternoon.
NKUA opened a branch campus in Cyprus and started offering courses last October.
