Cyprus, Greece, Egypt FMs discuss security, energy, shipping and regional developments

The Foreign Ministers of Cyprus, Egypt and Greece met in Cairo, discussing security, energy and shipping, along with regional developments.

On a post on X, Cyprus' Ministry of Foreign Affairs, notes that at the 18 Janaury trilateral meeting in Cairo, Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos had the opportunity, with his counterparts, Badr Abdelatty and Georgios Gerapetritis, for "stock-taking of the trilateral cooperation of Cyprus, Egypt, Greece, in the fields of security, energy and shipping, in view of the 11th Trilateral Summit that will be held in Cyprus before the end of 2026.

The Ministry also notes that they had a timely exchange on regional developments with focus on Middle East, Gaza, Libya, Syria, Iran, Sudan, Somalia, Ethiopia.
