Minister of Foreign Affairs, Constantinos Kombos, and Qatari Minister of State for International Cooperation, Dr Mariam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad met and discussed ways to deepen Cyprus - Qatar relations, while also addressing regional developments.
In a post on X, the Minister of Foreign Affairs notes that the 7 January meeting took place on the occasion of the Qatari Minister’s visit in Cyprus to attend the opening ceremony of the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of EU.
“Our discussion focused on ways to continue and further deepen Cyprus - Qatar relations, while also addressing regional issues and key developments,” the post says.
