During 2025, the annual action plan of the Larnaca Tourism Development and Promotion Company (ETAP) was fully completed, while additional initiatives enhancing the region's tourism product were also implemented.
In a statement, Larnaca ETAP states that "2025 was another year of significant achievements for the Larnaca Tourism Development and Promotion Company."
It notes that "with the support of the Deputy Ministry of Tourism, the Larnaca Chamber of Commerce & Industry and the Local Authorities, as well as with the active participation of local tourism stakeholders and other collaborating bodies, the annual Action Plan was fully completed, while at the same time additional initiatives were implemented that enhance the region's tourism product."
Larnaca ETAP states that "during the implementation of the actions, the modern demands of travelers were taken into account, combined with the support of communities and organisations that maintain the authentic character of Larnaca, ensuring the recognition and quality of the destination."
The projects focused "on public space upgrades, highlighting local identity and implementing digital innovations."
According to Larnaca ETAP, "the experiential activities booking platform, which enhances authentic experiences and the digital transition of the destination, was an important project."
Substantial progress was also made "in audiovisual projection, with new content that responds to the modern demand for dynamic visual material."
At the same time, "Larnaca ETAP strengthened strategic partnerships at the national and European level, participating in a series of notable programmes that strengthen the tourism and hotel sector."
"With all of the above analysed in this report, Larnaca ETAP consistently continues the path of development and promotion of the region, laying solid foundations for the next steps," the announcement concludes.
