The value of turnover in key service and transport sectors in Cyprus continued to rise in the third quarter of 2025, according to data released by CySTAT.
During the third quarter of 2025, turnover increased by 8.8 % in administrative and support service activities, 7.7 % in accommodation and food service activities, 7.4% in professional, scientific and technical activities, 3.6 % in transport and storage activities, 3.0 % in real estate activities and 2.9 % in information and communication activities, compared with the same quarter of 2024.
For the period January to September 2025, the upward trend remained broadly consistent. Turnover rose by 9.6 % in accommodation and food service activities, 8.6 % in administrative and support service activities, 5.1 % in information and communication activities, 4.7 % in professional, scientific and technical activities and 3.0 % in transport and storage activities, relative to the corresponding period of 2024. The only sector to record a decline during the first nine months of the year was real estate activities, which fell by 1.0 %
