The Turnover Value Index of Retail Trade for October 2025 increased by 7.6% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year, according to data published by CySTAT.
For the same month, the Turnover Volume Index of Retail Trade increased by 10.1% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year.
The biggest increases in value and in volume were recorded in clothing and footwear (15.3% and 24.4% respectively), in food, beverages and tobacco in specialised stores (12.9% and 15.3% respectively) and in other household equipment (construction materials, carpets, furniture, electrical appliances, lighting) by 11% και 12.8% respectively.
The largest decrease was recorded in retail sale not in stores (10.7% in value and 7.5% in volume).
During the period January-October 2025, the turnover value index of retail trade was up 6.4% and the turnover volume index of retail trade up by 7.8%.
