The Index of Industrial Output Prices for October 2025 reached 122,7 units (base 2021=100), remaining stable compared to September 2025, according to Cystat.
It is added that the change compared to the corresponding month of the previous year shows a decrease of 0.5%, while for the period January-October 2025, the index recorded a decrease of 0.4% compared to the corresponding period of 2024.
According to the service, in October 2025 compared to September 2025, the index remained stable in the electricity supply sector, while it increased in the water supply and material recovery sectors by 1.8% and in mining and quarrying by 0.1%, while a decrease was recorded in manufacturing (-0.2%).
It is added that, in terms of changes compared to the same month last year, there was an increase in the mining and quarrying (8.8%) and manufacturing (0.3%) sectors, while a decrease was recorded in electricity supply (-4.5%) and water supply and material recovery (-0.6%).
In particular, it is noted that by manufacturing sector, in October 2025 compared to the corresponding month of the previous year, increases were recorded in furniture manufacturing, other manufacturing activities, and repair and installation of machinery and equipment (3.3%), manufacture of electronic and optical products and electrical equipment (2.3%), in the manufacture of other non-metallic mineral products (1.6%), in the manufacture of paper and paper products and printing (0.8%) and in the manufacture of rubber and plastic products (0.8%), while a decrease was recorded in the food, beverage, and tobacco products (-0.5%) and the manufacture of basic metals and fabricated metal products (-0.2%).
