The Ministry of Energy, Trade and Industry, through the Trade Center of the Republic of Cyprus in Beijing, participated in the 8th China International Import Expo, which was held in Shanghai between 5 and 10 November 2025.
According to the Ministry, Cyprus' participation in the exhibition was an excellent opportunity to promote the country abroad and strengthen its trade relations with China and other countries.
A large number of foreign consumers, businessmen, traders and officials, have visited the Cyprus pavillion and had the opportunity to learn about quality Cypriot products, as well as the advantages of Cyprus as an international business center.
It adds that with the aim of enhancing the recognition and export potential of Cypriot products, visitors to the national pavilion were offered Cypriot wines that are already on the Chinese market.
The China International Import Expo, which has been held annually since 2018, is one of the largest international trade fairs held in China. This year's event hosted 4,108 companies from 155 countries and regions in China, while attracting over 450,000 professional visitors, the press release concludes.
