A Memorandum of Cooperation has been signed between the Cyprus Quarries Association and the China Aggregates Association.
Announcing the news on its social media, the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) said this was a milestone for the island’s aggregates sector.
“Today marks a milestone for the aggregates sector, as this new collaboration establishes a platform for international dialogue and the exchange of technical know-how, strengthening Cyprus' position on the global stage,” it posted.
It added that the CCCI, as a proud supporter of this initiative, recognises the significant economic, technological, and diplomatic dimension of the cooperation.
The aim, it said, is to promote sustainable and innovative practices, enhance the outward-looking profile of the Cypriot sector, and create new opportunities for the Cypriot aggregates industry
“A significant step toward the future of the sector and the Cypriot economy,” CCCI concluded.
