CySEC continues school visits to promote financial literacy in children

Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) Officer Maria Kindyni visited the Regional Primary School “Agioi Anargyroi” Moni–Monagroulli, where she spoke to students about online safety and how to protect their money in the digital world.

The students’ engagement was remarkable, CySEC said on its LinkedIn page, adding that the children were eager to ask questions while sharing many of their own real-life examples, showing how relevant the topic is to their everyday routine.

CySEC has been on a mission to educate the island’s schoolchildren about the ins and outs of financial literacy. During the recent visit, the children got to explore the basics of responsible financial behaviour as well as how to recognise online risks and scams, through simple concepts, interactive discussion, and true stories.

CySEC thanked the school’s administration, teachers, and students for their hospitality and active participation.
