Investment Funds' assets up 16% and over €1b y-o-y in September 2025, CBC data show

The assets of investment funds in Cyprus recorded a 16% increase in September 2025 compared with the same month in 2024, according to data published by the Central Bank of Cyprus. 

The total assets of investment funds in September amounted to €7,892.2 million, compared with €6,801.7 million in September 2024, marking an increase of more than €1 billion.

In September 2025, the number of investment funds in Cyprus reached 351, up from 334 in September 2024.

Of the €7,892.2 million, €860.2 million were in deposits and loans, €613.4 million were in securities other than shares, €5,847.8 million in shares and other equity, €390.9 million in non-financial assets, including fixed assets, and €179.9 million in other assets, including financial derivatives.

Compared with the previous quarter, the total assets of investment funds recorded an increase of 4.1%, rising from €7,578.1 million and marking an increase of €314.1 million.
