A total of 14 bounced cheques were recorded in the preliminary list of the Central Information Register (CIR), in October, with a total value of €176,435, according to data released by the Central Bank of Cyprus.
In October, seven entities were added to the preliminary list: four legal entities and three natural persons.
During the period from January to October 2025, a total of 198 bounced cheques were recorded, amounting to €616,580.
By comparison, during the same period in 2024, 252 checks were recorded, worth €533,524.
Furthermore, in October, a total of 18 entities were added to the CIR: six legal entities, three natural persons, and nine natural persons who control legal entities.
During the first ten months of the year, a total of 105 entities were registered: 36 legal entities, 26 natural persons, and 43 natural persons who control legal entities.
