This winter season is bringing the largest increase in available winter airline seats ever recorded at Cyprus airports. The total availability of airline seats has increased by 18% compared to the same period last year, reaching five million.
This impressive increase reflects the continued growth of Cyprus's year-round air connectivity, while also reinforcing the island's efforts to establish itself as a leading all-year-round tourism destination, while offering residents more options for travel and getaways abroad.
New markets and 13 new routes
The winter season 2025–2026 brings over 10 new itineraries and four new markets, expanding Cyprus' travel network and strengthening connections with important, as well as emerging destinations in Europe and the Middle East.
From the airport in Larnaca, flights are added to:
- Barcelona
- Skopje
- Tirana
- Bratislava
- Venice
- Gyumri
- Timisoara
- Sukeava
- Cluj
From the airport in Paphos, flights are added to:
- Düsseldorf Weeze
- Amman
- Haifa
- Yerevan
At the same time, routes to various major European destinations such as Berlin, Vienna, Prague, Paris, Amsterdam, Zurich, Copenhagen, Munich, Rome, Budapest, Warsaw, etc. are beiong maintained, with an increase in the frequency of routes to several of these destinations.
