Eurotoire Circuit (EUCT), the third and biggest edition of Eurotoire, proudly concludes with the release of its new mini-documentary, now streaming on the Louvana Records YouTube channel and debuted at the SoAlive Music Conference in Sofia on 14 October.
Led by Louvana Records (Cyprus), Arda Recorders (Portugal) and Mediatone (France), and co-funded by the European Union, EUCT gathered emerging talents from all three countries for masterclasses, writing, producing and recording an album, and with a series of live performances - featuring a performance at “L’Été en Pentes Douces” in Lyon, a live recorded set at Arda Recorders’ iconic Studio A in Porto, and a showcase performance at Fengaros Festival in Cyprus.
Eurotoire Circuit - ‘Turning Point (a short documentary)’
Directed and edited by Nicolas Guméry, and filmed by Antonis Pouliasis, Andre Tentugal and Nicolas Guméry, the newly unveiled mini-documentary offers an intimate look into the creative process and the behind the scenes of going from strangers to collaborators and friends. The 25-minute documentary’s dual premiere, both online and at SoAlive, marks the project’s culmination, where participants share insights and stories from the two-year-long project.
Throughout the project, 48 participants engaged in expert capacity-building sessions on topics such as monetisation, promotion, rights and live/studio preparation. Six standout artists - Inès N'Doye, Ezgi Akgürgen, Miguel Sampaio, Petros Papakonstantinou, Sofia Marque, and Théo Michel - were selected for a weeklong songwriting and production session at Studio eleven63 in Nicosia, where they wrote eleven songs from scratch. The final recording session at Arda Recorders in Portugal saw the production and recording of the eleven-track album, “Turning Point,” now released on all digital streaming platforms, including Dolby Atmos masters. Eurotoire Circuit became a pioneering, cross-European network, tackling gender inequality and boosting professional capability among emerging artists from all social backgrounds.
