Cyprus Organization for Standardization and Cyprus Compliance Association sign MoU to boost collaboration

The President of the Board of Directors of the Cyprus Organization for Standardization (CYS), Demetris Vakis, and the President of the Cyprus Compliance Association (CCA), Andrea Moundi Savvides, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 7 October, aimed at strengthening their collaboration.

With a shared vision for promoting regulatory compliance and professional development, the MoU aims to foster sustainable business growth and enhance industry standards across Cyprus, a press release said.

Through this cooperation, CYS and CCA will jointly support initiatives that promote knowledge exchange and compliance education, particularly focusing on helping SMEs and entrepreneurs adapt to evolving regulatory demands. Emphasis will be placed on the development of training programs, the sharing of technical expertise, and the facilitation of meaningful dialogue between professionals and institutions involved in governance, risk and compliance.

“This partnership reflects a mutual commitment to advancing integrity, innovation and excellence within the business and regulatory ecosystem of Cyprus,” the press release concluded.
