The Cyprus Compliance Association (CCA) and the Cyprus Integrity Forum (CIF) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at promoting transparency, ethics and integrity in the Cyprus market, through the exchange of views, joint initiatives and educational activities.
The Memorandum was signed by Andrea Moundi Savvides, Chairperson of CCA, and Elena Tanou, Vice President of CIF.
With this agreement, the two organisations reaffirm their commitment to serving the principles of integrity, for the benefit of professionals, investors and society as a whole.
In addition to the above, the Memorandum defines the main axes of cooperation, which include:
- the exchange of views and the creation of joint working groups on issues concerning regulatory frameworks and best practices in the Cyprus market,
- the co-organization of events, conferences and workshops, with mutual support in research and educational initiatives,
- the mutual invitation of representatives to participate, either as speakers or as participants, in events organized by both parties,
- sharing information and invitations to seminars, as well as collaborating in the organization of educational programs, with the recommendation of suitable speakers.
This Memorandum marks the beginning of a long-term collaboration, aimed at strengthening transparency and corporate responsibility in Cyprus, thus contributing to the creation of a more reliable and healthy business environment, a relevant announceemnt noted.
