Tourism revenues soared to €1.9b in the first seven months of the year

Tourism revenues recorded an annual increase of 17.4% in the period January-July 2025, according to CySTAT, estimated at €1,891.1 million compared to €1,610.4 million in the corresponding period in 2024.

Based on the results of the Traveler Survey, tourism revenues in July 2025 alone amounted to €513 million, representing an increase of 8.2% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year (€474 million).

Expense analysis

Per capita tourist expenditure in July 2025 amounts to €870.78 compared to €859.95 in July 2024, recording an increase of 1.3%.

British tourists, the largest tourist market making up 32.2% of all tourists in July 2025, spent an average of €100.29 per day, while Israeli tourists, the second largest tourist market during that month with 13% of the total, spent an average of €151.10.

Tourists from Poland, the third largest market with 7.4%, spent €90.23 per day.
