Dor Isseroff, Chief Operations Officer at Tango, a global live-streaming platform with over 500 million registered users, shared his insights at INSPIRE 2025 on The Global Entrepreneur Stage, during the panel Technology Entrepreneurs: Turning Cyprus into a Global Technology and Innovation Hub.
“Tango is a social live-streaming platform with over 500 employees, and we’re lucky to have an office in Limassol,” he said, reflecting on her decade-long experience in the mobile industry. The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated growth as people spent more time on their phones.
Isseroff highlighted the challenges of constant innovation, “At Tango today, there’s constant disruption and new ideas. It can feel cruel as a manager because of all the distractions. You need to stay very focused on what you want to achieve, fail, experiment with ideas, and release new features continuously to see if they work before rolling them out fully.”
He also emphasised the evolving Cyprus market, “A lot of startups in Cyprus are becoming more dominant locally. At Tango, we collaborate extensively with payment providers, gaming companies, and crypto platforms. It’s exciting to see how these collaborations can grow, and I feel very optimistic about where the ecosystem is heading.”
