A Paphos eatery, King's Restaurant, has been recognised by Tripadvisor's 2025 Travelers' Choice Awards and has been given second place on the list of 'Top 10 Hidden Gems Restaurants in the World.'
According to its Tripadvisor listing, King’s Restaurant opened for business in Paphos harbour in 1972 and is one of the more established restaurants on the holiday island of Cyprus.
"King’s Restaurant is situated at the heart of Paphos harbour with spectacular views from the terrace overlooking the harbour and the Mediterranean Sea, close to the ancient Castle and the archaeological Park," the description says.
Diners can enjoy a variety of classical Cypriot and Mediterranean dishes and international cuisines from around the world with specialities including Fish Meze and Meat Meze, washed down with a selection of beers or wines, or pure chilled fresh orange juice, among a selection of non-alcoholic beverages served at the restaurant, the description notes.
According to travel guidance website TripAdvisor, which features more than a billion reviews and contributions, its 2025 Best of the Best Restaurants were calculated based on the quality and quantity of reviews and ratings for restaurants on TripAdvisor collected from 1 August 2024 through 31 July 2025, specific to each award subcategory, as well as an additional editorial process.
