Sales of domestically produced industrial products in Cyprus recorded an increase in 2023, according to data released by CySTAT. Total sales reached €4,601.6 million, up from €4,289.6 million in 2022, marking an annual growth of 7.3%.
Among Cypriot products, Halloumi recorded sales of 41.9 thousand tons, valued at €338.1 million, while pasteurized milk and cream reached 60.7 million liters (€85.9 million). Fresh fruit juices amounted to 71.1 thousand tons (€49.0 million), meat products (processed) €50.4 million, and fresh bakery and confectionery products €351.4 million.
Beverage production and sales were also significant. Beer sales reached 42.3 million liters (€53.8 million), wine 11.9 million liters (€39.5 million), soft drinks 13.5 million liters (€20.5 million), and bottled water 190.7 million liters (€39.9 million).
In the industrial and chemical sectors, sales of pharmaceutical products and preparations reached €351.4 million, chemical products €84.0 million, cement and clinker €158.2 million, and ready-mix concrete 3.2 million cubic meters (€247.7 million).
