From tax consulting… to the digital work revolution
In 2011, Shynkarenko co-founded Seneschal International Consulting Limited, specializing in tax strategy advisory. In just a short time, the company reached an annual turnover of over $1 million — a remarkable feat for an independent consultancy.
But the real “earthquake” came in 2014, when he launched Solar Staff, a fintech platform that enabled companies to work with freelancers with full security, transparency, and compliance. His vision was simple yet radical: to liberate work from offices and borders.
The response was tremendous. Solar Staff recorded revenues of more than $10 million for two consecutive years (2022 and 2023).
Mellow: The Future of Work is Now
In 2024, Solar Staff evolved into something even bigger: Mellow. A comprehensive HR and contractor management platform, it now serves more than 1,500 companies and manages over 400,000 contractors across 100+ countries.
Mellow is not just a management tool. It is a philosophy of the “new way of working.” It uses technology to bridge the gap between employers and independent professionals, redefining what “teamwork” means in the digital 21st century.
