Aivitam Ventures has announced the Startup World Cup Greece Finals 2025, set for 10 September, 2025, at the brand-new SuiHub Europe in central Athens.
For the first time, Greece will host the world’s largest startup competition, giving Greek founders the chance to compete for a $1,000,000 investment prize at the San Francisco Grand Finale.
The event will showcase ten leading startups across AI, fintech, edtech, healthtech, retail, and sustainable technology. Each team will pitch directly to experienced venture capitalists and industry leaders, aiming to secure a place on the global stage. Participants will also gain access to top-tier investors, corporate partners, and media visibility.
Athens builds on the success of Startup World Cup Cyprus, where Calspak won the 2025 regional finals and advanced to Silicon Valley. The Cyprus competitions have attracted more than 150 investors, founders, and executives, establishing Southeast Europe as a rising hub in the global tech ecosystem. The Athens edition is expected to continue this momentum, bringing together 70+ industry leaders, founders, and decision-makers.
The evening will feature keynote presentations, live startup pitches, and panel discussions with investors from Sui, Metavallon, Apeiron VC, Startup Greece and more. Attendees will have access to dedicated networking areas, with opportunities to meet venture capitalists, corporate partners, and international journalists.
