An ambitious renovation and upgrade plan for the Nissi Beach, Nissi Park and Alion Beach hotels, in the Ayia Napa area, has been implemented in recent years by the Pavlakis family hotel group (Pavlakis Hotels), which has made offering high-quality hospitality services a priority since its establishment.
The General Manager of the Alion Beach and Nissi Park hotels, Panicos Michael, and the Operations Manager of the Nissi Beach Resort, George Philippou, spoke about the upgrades at the three hotels in the August edition of the Cyprus Hotel Association's monthly online magazine 'Xenodochos', highlighting, among other things, the elements that make the three hotels stand out.
According to Michael and Philippou, the Pavlakis family hotel group has prioritised offering high-quality hospitality services since its founding.
"The basic philosophy for implementing our goals was and remains the orchestration of holiday experiences centered on offering authentic hospitality and the feeling of 'home away from home', as envisioned by our founder and mentor all these years, the late Mr. Pavlos Pavlakis," they explain.

Regarding the announcements, the managers of the three hotels emphasise that, "as a matter of policy, there is an ongoing dynamic upgrade plan which is reviewed every year, guided by guest suggestions, technological developments, new decoration trends and our environmental and social sensitivities."
As they note, the latest phase of upgrades-renovations that has been completed regarding the Alion Beach hotel included renovation of the outdoor areas in the hotel's garden with new umbrellas/sunbeds, new gazebos and landscaping, new furniture in the hotel's main lobby, renovation of the bathrooms in the rooms on one floor, as well as upgrading the restaurant menus.
At the Nissi Park Hotel, after last year's major renovation that involved all rooms, as well as common areas, and the installation of a photovoltaic system, the group has focused on renovating all staff areas, which now have nothing to envy the customer areas for.

Moreover, in recent years, Nissi Beach Resort has undergone significant renovations to both the interior and exterior areas of the hotel, as well as to the rooms and beach restaurants.
At the same time, the group has invested significantly in the green transition, with actions such as the installation of a large photovoltaic system, the thermal insulation of a large part of the building complex, and the upgrading of the engine rooms, with the aim of improving energy efficiency and reducing carbon dioxide emissions.
In addition to the above, for the current year, a major renovation is planned in the pool area, with the aim of renewing the visitor experience and upgrading the aesthetics of the space.
Regarding the elements/characteristics that make the three hotels stand out, Michael and Philippou indicate that "our basic philosophy and spearhead is the offer of authentic hospitality and the 'home away from home' feeling."
In addition to the excellent location enjoyed by all three hotels, as well as the very good facilities they offer, they note, "what we want to set us apart from the rest is authentic hospitality."
"We say we are different because we care. We make sure that every guest feels this from the first moment they cross our threshold," they emphasise, clarifying that "the philosophy is the same whether it is the luxurious five-star Alion or the four-star iconic Nissi Beach Resort, or the small 'boutique' Nissi Park."
Asked if there are any thoughts about any other investments in 2025 or beyond, they report that "our plans do not currently include any thoughts about new hotels, but the effort is focused on upgrading existing units."
