AI for Good, a global movement with a mandate to leverage the potential of artificial intelligence (AI) to create positive social impact and improve lives, is officially launching its first branch of Young AI Leaders in Cyprus.
“Our mission is to empower the next generation through cutting-edge AI education, practical learning experiences, and impactful real-world projects,” Young AI Leaders | Nicosia City Hub posted on its LinkedIn page. “Whether you're a student, a tech enthusiast, or simply curious about AI, this is your opportunity to be part of a global movement shaping the future of technology.”
"AI for Good" aims to apply AI technologies to address global challenges and advance the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The core idea is to identify, develop, and scale AI solutions that can help tackle issues like poverty, hunger, disease, inequality, and climate change.
“We believe that the future of AI lies not only in technological advancements but in the people who guide its development,” the movement says on its website.
“AI for Good” has 103 hubs in 50 countries and counts 650+ members.
“Our community empowers young leaders with the tools, opportunities, and a global stage to drive ethical and responsible AI innovation,” it adds.
With guidance, mentorship, and resources, the movement’s youth-led initiatives are designed to thrive and create lasting, positive impacts. Through initiatives like the Young AI Leaders Community, AI for Good ensures that young people have the skills, platforms, and support to lead the way in building a more inclusive and sustainable digital future.
