EDP Renováveis, S.A. (EDPR) has entered into an agreement with Principia, a company jointly owned by Enel SpA and funds managed by Macquarie Asset Management, to sell a 100% equity stake of a 150MW wind portfolio in Greece for an estimated Enterprise Value of €0.2 billion.
As noted in a relevant announcement, the transaction scope comprises four operating wind farms benefiting from 20-year Contracts for Difference. With this sale, EDPR has already secured ~€0.7 billion of its ~€2 billion Asset Rotation Proceeds target for 2025. The transaction remains subject to customary regulatory approvals and other standard conditions, with closing expected during 2025.
