ICPAC and CIBA sign MoU enhancing cooperation on matters of strategic importance for the Cypriot economy

The Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC) and the Cyprus International Businesses Association (CIBA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing their cooperation on matters of strategic importance for the Cypriot economy.

Both parties are committed to joining forces to promote Cyprus as an international business and professional services hub, attract foreign investment, strengthen the competitiveness of companies operating on the island, and further enhance and protect the country’s positive international reputation, a relevant announcement said. 

"The cooperation includes the exchange of information, participation in joint working groups, the undertaking of joint initiatives and activities both in Cyprus and abroad, as well as the joint evaluation of issues and proposals impacting the country’s business environment," it continued. 

The MoU was signed by the Presidents of the two Associations, Odysseas Christodoulou (ICPAC) and Vassilios Demetriades (CIBA), who emphasised their shared goal of working toward the sustained growth and further strengthening of international businesses operating in Cyprus.
