Annual inflation in Cyprus dropped to 2.1% in March, compared to 2.3% in February, according to a flash estimate from Eurostat.
Compared to March 2024, when inflation was at 1.6%, annual inflation in Cyprus appears increased this year.
According to the same estimates, eurozone annual inflation is 2.2% in March 2025, down from 2.3% in February and 2.4% last March.
Looking at the main components of euro area inflation, services is expected to have the highest annual rate in March (3.4%, compared with 3.7% in February), followed by food, alcohol & tobacco (2.9%, compared with 2.7% in February), non-energy industrial goods (0.6%, stable compared with February) and energy (-0.7%, compared with 0.2% in February).
