Israel's Transport Minister paying Cyprus official visit

Aiming to enhance bilateral cooperation in the areas of transport and infrastructure, Israel's Transport Minister and Road Safety Miri Regev is paying Cyprus an official visit until 8 July. 

"During her visit, the Minister will have a series of meetings with Transport, Communications and Works Ministry officials and will visit key infrastructure locations, such as Larnaca airport and the Joint Rescue Coordination Center (JRCC), a Ministry press release said.

Regeve will also take part in meetings with El Al and will be given a tour of Larnaca port, enhancing cooperation in the areas of aviation, shipping and transport. 

"This visit constitutes an important step in strengthening relations between Cyprus and Israel in the areas of transport and infrastructure, aiming to develop joint initiatives and to exchange experience and know-how," the press release added.
