Shipping Deputy Minister Marina Hadjimanolis on official visit to London

Deputy Minister of Shipping Marina Hadjimanolis is on an official visit to London until Wednesday, 9 July.

According to a relevant announcement from the Deputy Ministry, the highlight of her visit is a bilateral meeting with the UK Minister responsible for maritime issues, Mike Kane, where cooperation issues related to the responsibilities of the two Ministries will be discussed, as well as current affairs with emphasis on geopolitical issues impacting the shipping sector.

As part of her visit to London, Hadjimanolis will also meet with the Secretary-General of the Commonwealth, Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey, as well as have a series of contacts to promote Cyprus' candidacy for membership to the IMO (International Maritime Organization) Council, in the upcoming November elections.
