All That’s Left of You, a film written, directed and produced by Palestinian American film-maker Cherien Dabis, and filmed in Cyprus and Germany, has achieved a perfect 100% Rotten Tomatoes score.
The film relays the story of a Palestinian teen who, when confronted by Israeli soldiers at a protest in the West Bank, his mother recounts the series of events that led him to that fateful moment, starting with his grandfather’s displacement from Jaffa in 1948. All That’s Left of You is described as an epic historical drama chronicling the story of one family over three generations and examining the passage of trauma to each.
