Marinos Christodoulides: Eurobank's intention to list shares on the Stock Exchange is a vote of confidence in the CSE

"Eurobank's announcement of this intention demonstrates the high degree of confidence of the Eurobank Group in the Cyprus Stock Exchange, as well as in the Cypriot economy."

This was emphasised, among other things, in a statement by the Chairman of the Board of the Cyprus Stock Exchange (CSE) Marinos Christodoulides, who noted that this development "will provide increased added value and prospects to the Cyprus Stock Exchange."

As he stated, "as the Cyprus Stock Exchange (CSE), we welcome the intention of the Eurobank Group for a parallel Listing of the Bank's shares on the Cyprus Stock Exchange (CSE), as announced by the Eurobank Group on Friday 27 June, 2025 on the Athens Stock Exchange, on which the company's shares are currently primarily listed."

"The announcement of this intention by Eurobank demonstrates the high degree of confidence of the Eurobank Group in the Cyprus Stock Exchange, as well as in the Cypriot economy," he adds.

The Stock Exchange, Christodoulides concluded, "looks forward to the completion of the required procedures under the Legislation as described in Eurobank's announcement, so that this intention can proceed to completion as soon as possible, a fact that we estimate will provide increased added value and perspective to the Cyprus Stock Exchange."
