Deloitte: One of the first companies in Cyprus to offer lactation rooms

Deloitte is one of the pioneering companies in Cyprus that has established Lactation Rooms within its facilities. This innovative initiative is part of the company's ongoing commitment to creating a supportive and family-friendly work environment, it said.

The Lactation Rooms are designed to provide comfort and privacy for working mothers who wish to express milk during working hours. They are fully equipped with everything necessary for the process, including creams, nursing pads, milk storage bags, and a refrigerator. In addition, parenting books are available for relaxing and educational reading during the process.

“Deloitte Cyprus recognises the importance of supporting working parents and continues to invest in initiatives that promote work-life balance. Among others, we offer the Wellnest Prenatal & Postpartum Support program, New Dad Leave, flexible or reduced working hours for parents, the option to work remotely, as well as gifts for weddings and newborns,” explains Ellie Stavrou, Director in the HR team.
