George Pantelides elected OEB’s new President

George Pantelides has officially assumed the Presidency of the Employers and Industrialists Federation (OEB).

Addressing OEB’s Annual General Assembly in Nicosia, Pantelides emphasised that despite international socio-economic challenges, he remains optimistic that Cypriot entrepreneurship, “the most creative cell of the country's productive fabric”, will play a catalytic role in maintaining and enhancing the resilience of the Cypriot economy.

He said that Cyprus can achieve triple-A credit ratings, noting that we need to invest to people, value and competitiveness.

That is to say, he explained, to a continual upgrade of human resources, an incessant devotion to quality and innovation of products and services and an absolute commitment to enhancing the competitiveness of businesses.
