George Chrysochos: Investments in urban apartments have the best returns

Presenting an overview of the land development sector in Cyprus, George Chrysochos, Executive Director, Cyfield also told audiences at the 7th Doing Business in Cyprus Summit that the best returns have been coming from investments in urban apartments.

The major conference by IMH and Invest Cyprus aims to showcase Cyprus as an attractive international business centre.

Among other things, Chrysochos highlighted the high quality of living Cyprus provides, including when it comes to private education and health.

Describing Cyprus as an ideal location for families and real estate as ideal choice for investors, particularly investors from Israel.

Some of these reasons Cyprus real estate is attractive for investment includes that the the island is on the cusp of entering the Schengen Zone, Chrysochos suggested.

He also underlined that Real Estate had remain a significantly growing and stable sector in Cyprus, underlining that residential apartments have a rising yield due to appreciation, particularly when it comes to urban apartments.
