Alpha Bank's Kyriacos Michaelides highlights Cyprus as a destination for Affluent & HNWIs

Speaking at the 7th Doing Business in Cyprus Summit currently underway in Tel Aviv, Kyriacos Michaelides, the Chief Wealth and International Banking Officer at Alpha Bank Cyprus Ltd talked about the country’s benefits as an ideal location for international clients and Affluent & High Net Worth Individuals in particular.

The major conference by IMH and Invest Cyprus aims to showcase Cyprus as an attractive international business centre.

Michaelides also presented the Alpha Bank Group, including its purchase of AstroBank which is anticipated to be completed in the third quarter of the year.

He noted that Alpha Bank Cyprus has lengthy experience in funding and assisting international clients, including through the creation of its Bank’s International Banking Division.

As Michaelides pointed out, Alpha Bank Cyprus offers a wide range of products and services specially designed to cover the needs of international clients whether these are businesses or individuals.

These include the Wealth Management Service which, among other things, offers foreign customers loans for the purchase of real estate.

Michaelides went on to present an overview of Cyprus’ financial services and banking sector.
