Tourism revenues are soaring: 35% increase to €148.9m in the first two months of 2025

Tourism revenues in February 2025 amounted to €79.7 million, showing an increase of 22.4% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year (€65.1 million), while in the first two months of the year the increase stood at 35%.

A CySTAT announcement states that for the period January-February 2025, tourism revenues are estimated at €148.9 million compared to €110.3 million in the corresponding period in 2024, marking an increase of 35.0%.

Per capita tourist spending in February 2025 amounts to €595.71 compared to €521.01 in February 2024, recording an increase of 14.3%.

British tourists (the largest tourist market with 24.8% of all tourists in February 2025) spent an average of €73.42 per day, while Polish tourists (the second largest tourist market in that month with 15.1% of the total) spent an average of €71.07 per day.

Tourists from Israel (third largest market with 14.3%), spent €203.06 per day.
