Medicover Genetics Cyprus announces 2025 paid Internship in memory of Dr Antonis Antoniou

Medicover Genetics Cyprus, a leader in biotechnology and genetic diagnostics, is proud to announce the 2025 paid internship in memory of Dr Antonis Antoniou.

This opportunity is open to passionate young scientists who have completed a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Biology or a related Life Sciences field, and who have laboratory experience in Molecular Biology, Human Genetics, or Cancer Biology.

About the internship

  • Type: Paid internship
  • Duration: Two months
  • Period: July and August 2025
  • Location: Research & Development Department, Medicover Genetics, Nicosia, Cyprus.

The selected intern will gain hands-on experience in innovative research at Medicover Genetics’ advanced laboratories, working alongside internationally recognized scientists. The program is designed to foster scientific growth, professional development, and exposure to cutting-edge advancements in genetic medicine. In Memory of Dr Antonis Antoniou

This paid internship honours the memory of Dr Antonis Antoniou, a highly valued member of the Research and Development team at the former NIPD Genetics, now Medicover Genetics. Known for his integrity, humility, and dedication to science, Dr Antoniou passed away unexpectedly on August 14 August 2021. His legacy continues to inspire the next generation of researchers.
