Industrial turnover up 1.6% in 2024

The Industrial Turnover Index recorded a 1.6% increase in 2024 compared to the previous year, according to Cystat.

In December 2024, the index reached 131.7 points (base year 2021=100), marking a 5.6% year-on-year rise from December 2023.

In the manufacturing sector, the index stood at 136.7 points in December 2024, reflecting a 7.3% annual increase. Growth was also recorded in water supply and materials recovery (11.5%) and mining and quarrying (2.6%). In contrast, the electricity supply sector saw a 4.7% decline.
