RIF announces new call for “Fast Track Innovation” programme

The Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF) has announced the new Call for Proposals for its “Fast Track Innovation” programme.

The programme aims to support existing enterprises from all sectors of activity to invest in the rapid development and promotion of internationally competitive innovative products and services. It includes improving the characteristics of existing products/services/processes through research and development activities, or developing new products or services that create new revenue streams into the business within a short period of time.

The Host Organisation must be a productive enterprise with sales and turnover of at least €200,000 and employ at least four (4) employees, RIF said

The programme’s budget is €2,000,000 and the maximum funding per project is €200,000. Proposals are submitted through the Foundation’s IRIS portal and the deadline is 30 April 2025, 13:00.

The Call is announced with strict timelines due to additional funding from the Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRF), the implementation of which is expected to be completed in June 2026.

Meanwhile, RIF is organising a webinar to present the call and resolve queries regarding the rules and conditions for participating in the programme, on Friday 14 March 2025, 11:00-12:00 (local time). To participate, interested parties should register here. Participants have the opportunity to submit their questions in advance when registering.

For any questions, interested parties can contact the Foundation’s Support Service by email at support@research.org.cy or by phone at +357 22205000.
