Samsung Wallet now available in Cyprus

Samsung Electronics has announced the arrival of Samsung Wallet in Cyprus and Greece.

As noted in a related press release, the app allows users to securely organise and use their home and car keys, selected loyalty cards, and digital work cards, which track when employees clock in and out, directly from their smartphones.

"With Samsung Wallet, users no longer need to carry multiple physical items or worry about forgetting something important. Daily life becomes easier, as they can access the app with simple actions, such as double-pressing the side button. Additionally, from a single interface, users can manage their tickets and cards, as well as log in to apps and services using only their biometric data," the announcement notes.

Samsung Wallet is protected by Samsung Knox, a security platform that leverages fingerprint recognition and encryption to ensure that personal information remains safe. Furthermore, the most sensitive data is stored in an isolated environment, the embedded Secure Element, providing an extra layer of protection against digital and physical threats.

"Finally, it is worth noting that Samsung Wallet is already available in more than 30 countries worldwide," the press release concludes.
