Opening of Armenia Embassy in Nicosia an important milestone, Kombos says

The opening of Armenia’s resident embassy in Nicosia is an important milestone in the partnership between Cyprus and Armenia, Foreign Minister, Constantinos Kombos has said.

He conveyed the message in a post on X, following a courtesy farewell meeting he had with the outgoing Armenian Ambassador, Tigran Mkrtchyan.

Kombos noted he was ''grateful'' for Mkrtchyan's ''dedication and determination in further strengthening and advancing bilateral relations between Cyprus and Armenia.''

''Looking forward to the opening of Armenia’s resident embassy in Nicosia – an important milestone in our evolving partnership,'' he concluded.
