USNS Laramie docks at Limassol port

The USNS Laramie, a US replenishment vessel, is docked at the port of Limassol where it will be undergoing maintenance work

US Ambassador Julie Fisher welcomed its arrival in a post on X: “We welcome the USNS Laramie to Limassol for scheduled maintenance and well-earned rest for the crew,” she wrote.

According to Fisher, the vessel is named after the US Laramie River, and is crucial in maintaining the readiness of the US naval forces in Europe, providing fuel to ships and aircraft at sea.
