Three Cypriot robotics teams win awards at a competition in the Netherlands

Three Cypriot robotics teams have won awards at a competition in the Netherlands.

According to the non-profit Achievement Foundation for Talented & Gifted Youth, three teams from the Epiteugma Robotics Lab participated in the FIRST Tech Challenge FTC Benelux Tournament that took place on 19 January at the American School in The Hague in the Netherlands.

The three Cypriot teams won the following awards: 13906 Epiteugma RevvedUp: Finalist Alliance Award (2nd place) as well as the Motivate Award, 28378 Epiteugma MouflonBots Connect Award and 28380 Epiteugma Gladiators: Design Award.

According to the press release, Cypriot Ambassador to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Spyros Attas watched the competition and congratulated the Cypriot students on their success.
