Hartmann Holdings (Cyprus) cargo ship fitted with energy efficient technologies

Hartmann Holdings (Cyprus) Ltd recently fitted its cargo ship UBC Tampa with energy efficient technologies while it was in Greece recently.

“As part of our ongoing efforts to boost performance and reduce fuel consumption of our fleet, UBC Tampa was recently fitted with numerous energy efficient technologies during her recent drydocking in Greece,” the company said on LinkedIn.

An optimal combination of devices was provided by Njord, a Copenhagen-based company specialising in helping shipping companies enhance their fleet performance and reduce emissions through technology. “These included the installation of Ultrasound Propeller Cleaning, Ultra Low Friction Anti-fouling paint, an ME Power Optimisation system, BNAAC Autopilot and Propeller Boss Cap Fins (PBCF),” Hartmann Holdings (Cyprus) said.

UBC TAMPA is a General Cargo and is sailing under the flag of Cyprus. Her length overall is 182.59 metres and her width is 28.66 metres.
