The Sauvàge hosting renowned winemaker Thanos Dougos

On Thursday, 23 January, Sauvàge Wine Bar in Nicosia is hosting winemaker Thanos Dougos, of the Dougos Winery located at the foot of the majestic Mount Olympus.

With the participation of Andreas Kyprianou, Wine Director of Vino Hospitality Group, the evening will see the two experts share their passion and legendary stories about the Greek vineyard at a tasting and gastronomy event.

This is a unique evening where wine experts will recommend two of the winery’s premium wines to wine lovers.

The gastronomic evening also combines nine exquisite dishes made with love and passion by the Sauvàge team, with six excellent wines from the Greek Vineyard.

The evening of the event offers three different start times for the tasting, with the hosts sharing their knowledge from 7pm, 8pm and 9pm.

The Sauvàge opened its doors in Nicosia last May, promising to provide a unique wine experience to the capital. It offers biodynamic, organic, skin contact (orange), artisanal wines from small producers with low to zero interventions (natural wines), and promotes wineries that emphasise sustainability, while wines with low or zero alcohol content complete a highly interesting wine list.

The unique labels are accompanied by a specially designed menu of unique modern tapas dishes based on freshness, seasonality and a playful mood. Through these unique tapas, the character of Sauvàge and its people shines through, who put soul and love into every dish, every glass of wine.
