Cyprus and Qatari officials discuss bilateral relations, regional developments

Cyprus and Qatari officials have discussed ways to enhanced bilateral cooperation, and talked about regional developments, a post on "X" by Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Constantinos Kombos has said.

In a telephone conversation, Minister of Foreign Affairs Kombos and Qatar’s Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al-Khulaifi, had a "comprehensive discussion focusing on enhancing bilateral Cyprus-Qatar cooperation, regional developments, including Syria, the Gaza ceasefire deal, release of hostages, and the provision of humanitarian aid to civilians in Gaza".

In the 19 January post, Minister Kombos also commended the tireless facilitation exerted by the United States, Egypt and Qatar on the issue of Gaza.
