Poland-Denmark-Cyprus Presidency Trio will work for a stronger EU, Raouna says

The Poland-Denmark-Cyprus trio Presidency will work with determination for a stronger, more secure, more competitive, prosperous and democratic EU, Cyprus’ Deputy Minister for European Affairs, Marilena Raouna has said.

In a post on “X” on the start on 1 January of Poland’s Presidency of the Council of the EU, Raouna welcomes 2025 and the Poland-Denmark-Cyprus Presidency Trio of the Council of the EU.

“Together, Poland-Denmark-Cyprus, we will work with determination for a stronger, more secure, more competitive, prosperous and democratic EU that delivers more for its citizens and in the world,” she notes.

Cyprus will assume Presidency of the Council of the European Union in the first half of 2026.
