Over 6,000 people benefit from Labour Ministry's digital skills programme

The Ministry of Labour and Social Insurance's Cyprus Productivity Centre (CPC) has announced that it implemented 538 digital skills programmes with the participation of over 6,000 individuals between March 2022 and December 2024.

Of these programmes, 307 were specifically designed for individuals aged 55 and above, 57 were open to the general public, and 48 led to ICDL certification upon successful examination.

Additionally, 126 programmes were conducted in collaboration with the Deputy Ministry of Research, Innovation, and Digital Policy, concluding at the end of 2023.

In the digital skills programmes for those aged 55 and above, 3,576 individuals participated, while 608 took part in the general programmes.

All programmes were offered free of charge and funded by the EU's Recovery and Resilience Facility under Cyprus's Recovery and Resilience Plan.

A new series of programmes has already commenced.
