KIOS presents innovative work at SEST 2024 in Italy

The KIOS Research and Innovation Center of Excellence team had a strong presence at the 7th International Conference on Smart Energy Systems and Technologies (SEST 2024), held in Torino, Italy, on 10-12 September 2024.
Its researchers presented their innovative work aiming to:
1️. Form resilient networked microgrids in distribution networks for emergency management.
2️. Tackle cybersecurity threats to protect critical infrastructures.
3️. Minimise the electricity cost in residential buildings with battery energy storage systems.
4️. Develop simplified thermal models for predicting the indoor temperature in buildings.
